Renowned for its popular sweet wines, Montbazillac forms part of the Bergerac region, adjacent to Bordeaux. The Chateau itself is just to the south of the town of Bergerac and wines are made following the same methodology as the famous, and slightly more expensive Sauternes wines.
Mid yellow in appearance the La Peze has the typical sweet honeyed Montbazillac nose. As you would expect, to taste it is sweet, full of honey flavours coupled with apricot and pear. It's full and wonderfully rich in both depth and flavour
Serving Suggestions and Pairing: Foie Gras, Roquefort and Stilton and pretty much anything sweet.
